Pricing and Fee Structure
This document provides detailed information about Dodo Payments’ fee structure for processing transactions, issuing payouts, and refunds and chargebacks. All fees outlined here will apply once a merchant’s account is live.
Customer and Merchant
For the purpose of this document the following is the definition of a merchant and customer: Merchant: This refers to the merchant’s who are part of the Dodo Payments platform and selling their products using Dodo Payments as a reseller Customer: This refers to the customers who purchase the products offered by the merchantsPay-In Fees
This refers to the fees applied on the transactions made by customers- Transaction Fees (USA customers) : 4% + $0.40
- +1.5% for International Customers (Outside USA)
- +0.5% for Subscription Payments

Payout Fees
This refers to the fees for payments from Dodo Payments to the MerchantFor US Merchants
- Dodo Fees:
- $5 per payout for amount < $1000
- No Fees per payout for amount >= $1000
For Non-US Merchants (Non-USD Currency)
- Dodo Fees:
- $5 per payout for amount < $1000
- No Fees per payout for amount >= $1000
- USD Payout Option:
- A flat $25 SWIFT fee will be charged if merchants prefer to receive payouts in USD
Disclaimer : For Payouts where currency exchange from USD is involved, we will provide the best exchange rates. For International transactions, additional wire charges may apply as per payment provider.
For India Merchants (Domestic Payouts)
This refers to the revenue generated through sales made to Indian customers.- Dodo Fees:
- ₹5 per payout for amount < ₹100,000
- No Fees per payout for amount >= ₹100,000
Refund and Chargeback Fees
Refund Fees (In addition to refund amount)
- Fee: $1 per refunded transaction.

Currency Equivalents:
- INR: ₹10 per refund.
- Additional Notes: The refund fee applies regardless of the reason for the refund.
Chargeback Fees (In addition to chargeback amount)
- Fee: $30 per chargeback for non-INR transactions.

Currency Equivalents:
- INR: ₹1000 per chargeback for INR transactions.
- Additional Notes: The chargeback fee applies regardless of the outcome of the chargeback dispute.
Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) Payment Options
Dodo Payments now supports Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) payment methods, allowing customers to split their payments into installments while merchants receive the full amount upfront.1. Supported BNPL Providers
- Klarna – Available exclusively to customers in the USA.
- AfterPay – Available exclusively to customers in the USA.
2. Transaction Fees & Surcharges
- BNPL transactions will incur an additional surcharge of 3% on top of standard transaction fees.
- This surcharge applies to all transactions processed via Klarna or AfterPay.
3. Minimum Payment Amount Requirement
- BNPL options will only be available if the final order amount (post-discounts) is at least $50.
- If the cart total falls below this threshold, Klarna and AfterPay will not be displayed as available payment methods at checkout.
Adaptive Pricing Fees
Adaptive Currency allows your customer to pay in their local currency using the latest exchange rates Fees- You Pay 0%
- Your customers pay 2-4% based on the order value
- Fees are tiered:
- 4% for orders under $500
- 3% for $500–$1,500
- 2% for over $1,500
Important Notes
- Adjustments: Fees may vary slightly depending on the payment processor’s updates or region-specific requirements. We will update the document and notify the merchants whenever the prices are updated
- The original transaction fee associated with the refunded or disputed transaction will still be applicable. There will be no reversal of this charge in case of refunds or disputes
