एकीकरण प्रवाह

आपका ऐप iOS checkout SDK के साथ Dodo Payments hosted checkout खोलता है। SDK checkout को SFSafariViewController में प्रस्तुत करता है और typed result लौटाता है।
checkout को एम्बेड करने के बजाय SDK का उपयोग करें। Apple, SFSafariViewController में Apple Pay support का दस्तावेज़ीकरण करता है, जबकि एम्बेड किया गया WebView Apple Pay और Google Pay को suppress कर सकता है, जिससे wallet conversions कम हो जाते हैं। उदाहरण के लिए, WKWebView तब Apple Pay को disable कर देता है जब आपका app page में scripts inject करता है। App Review, native checkout की तरह ही WebView checkout पर भी वही purchase rules (guideline 3.1.1) लागू करता है।

Integration Steps

Mobile App to Your Server

आपका ऐप checkout URL के लिए अपने backend से अनुरोध करता है। इस अनुरोध को signed-in user के session token से authenticate करें।

Your Server to Dodo API

आपका backend अपनी API key के साथ एक checkout session बनाता है और checkout_url को app में लौटाता है।
Checkout sessions अपने server पर बनाएँ, ऐप में कभी नहीं। कोई भी व्यक्ति ऐप binary से API key extract कर सकता है।

Mobile App Opens Checkout

checkout_url को DodoCheckout.start(...) में पास करें। SDK इसे SFSafariViewController में प्रस्तुत करता है और customer के checkout पूरा करने या dismiss करने पर typed result लौटाता है।

Dodo Payments to Your Server

Payment सफल होने या subscription activate होने पर Dodo Payments payment.succeeded या subscription.active webhook आपके endpoint पर भेजता है।

Your Server Grants Access

पाए गए result से नहीं, बल्कि उस webhook से purchased content को unlock करें। SDK result एक UI hint है, payment का proof नहीं।

Regional Availability

Dodo Payments alternative purchase flows को केवल उन App Store regions में support करता है जहाँ Apple स्पष्ट रूप से external payments की अनुमति देता है, या जहाँ कोई regulator या court order इसकी आवश्यकता बताता है।

Supported Regions

वर्तमान court orders और Apple’s App Store Review Guidelines की अनुमति की सीमा तक supported।
  • Guideline 3.1.1(a) U.S. storefront के ऐप्स को बिना entitlement के अन्य purchase methods के buttons और links शामिल करने की अनुमति देता है
  • Epic v. Apple court proceedings के परिणाम के अधीन
  • आपको Apple’s implementation guidelines का पालन करना होगा
Apple के EU terms और EU के लिए Apple के external purchase entitlement के माध्यम से supported।
  • Apple के EU Alternative Terms के माध्यम से enabled। 1 अक्टूबर 2026 से, Apple इन terms को EU terms के एकल set से replace करता है
  • 1 अक्टूबर 2026 से प्रभावी होने वाली terms के अंतर्गत StoreKit External Purchases or Offers Entitlement आवश्यक है। पहले की terms के अंतर्गत entitlement, StoreKit External Purchase Link Entitlement है
  • आपको EU Digital Markets Act requirements का पालन करना होगा
18 दिसंबर 2025 से प्रभावी Japan’s Mobile Software Competition Act (MSCA) के अंतर्गत supported।
  • Apple Japan storefront पर alternative payment methods और external purchases के links की अनुमति देता है
  • आपको Apple की Japan-specific entitlement और App Store Connect requirements का पालन करना होगा
  • Commission terms अन्य regions से अलग हैं; Japan के लिए Apple की current terms देखें
South Korea supported region नहीं है। Apple का StoreKit External Purchase Entitlement for South Korea native in-app payment flow की आवश्यकता रखता है, जो “may not be within a web view” हो सकता है, और जिसे Apple-approved Korean payment service provider (जैसे KCP, Inicis, Toss, या NICE) द्वारा South Korean Won में prices के साथ process किया जाना चाहिए। Dodo Payments checkout एक web page के रूप में खुलता है, इसलिए यह इन requirements को पूरा नहीं करता।
किसी भी storefront के लिए Dodo Payments enable करने से पहले, Apple की region-specific entitlements और App Store Connect requirements की समीक्षा करें और उनका पालन करें। Unsupported regions में alternative payment flows के कारण आपका app reject या remove किया जा सकता है।
कुछ business models के लिए in-app purchase (IAP) आवश्यक नहीं होता। guideline 3.1.3(e) के अंतर्गत, physical goods या app के बाहर consume की जाने वाली services बेचने वाले apps को IAP के बजाय किसी अन्य payment method का उपयोग करना होगा। Dodo Payments इन models को भी support करता है। यह पुष्टि करने के लिए कि आपके use case के लिए IAP आवश्यक है या नहीं, अपने app की category को Apple की current guidelines के अनुसार जांचें।
