Rekomi

परिचय

Rekomi एक affiliate tracking और management platform है, जिसमें native Dodo Payments integration है। कोई affiliate एक link साझा करता है और Rekomi उस click को रिकॉर्ड करता है। जब वह visitor खरीदारी करता है, तो Dodo Payments sale को Rekomi को भेजता है, जो सही affiliate को credit देता है। Rekomi commission की गणना करता है और आपके affiliates को आपकी ओर से 150+ देशों में भुगतान करता है, tax forms सहित। कनेक्ट करने के लिए, आप write access वाली एक Dodo Payments API key को Rekomi में paste करते हैं। Rekomi key को validate करता है, आपके Dodo Payments account में webhook endpoint बनाता है और endpoint का signing secret प्राप्त करता है। आपको webhook form भरने या Dodo Payments में वापस कुछ paste करने की आवश्यकता नहीं होती।

Rekomi किसी affiliate को sale का credit तब देता है, जब referred customer one-time payment पूरा करता है, paid subscription शुरू करता है या renewal का भुगतान करता है। Refunds और disputes commission को अपने-आप वापस ले लेते हैं।

यह कैसे काम करता है

Dodo Payments अपने domain पर checkout host करता है, इसलिए affiliate referral checkout metadata के रूप में sale में पहुँचता है:

कोई visitor affiliate link पर click करके आपकी site पर आता है, जहाँ Rekomi script उसके browser में referral store करती है।
Checkout के समय, आप उस referral को payment से rekomi_ref metadata के रूप में जोड़ते हैं।
Dodo Payments payment को process करता है और Rekomi द्वारा बनाए गए endpoint को signed payment.succeeded webhook भेजता है।
Rekomi referral को affiliate से match करता है, pre-tax sale amount पर commission की गणना करता है और उसे रिकॉर्ड करता है।

Subscription renewals भी इसी तरह आते हैं, इसलिए recurring commissions के लिए किसी अतिरिक्त काम की आवश्यकता नहीं होती। Refunds और disputes भी इसी endpoint के माध्यम से आते हैं।

आवश्यकताएँ

इस integration को set up करने से पहले, आपको चाहिए:

एक Rekomi account

शुरुआत करना

Create an API Key with Write Access

Key पर write access enable करें। Read-only key validation पास कर लेती है, लेकिन webhook endpoint नहीं बना सकती, इसलिए connection बीच में विफल हो जाता है।

Dodo Payments dashboard में Developer → API Keys पर जाएँ और Add API Key पर click करें। Key का नाम Rekomi रखें और Enable write access को checked रहने दें। विवरण के लिए Authentication देखें।

Paste the Key into Rekomi

Rekomi में Setup → Connect payment processor खोलें, Dodo Payments चुनें और key paste करें। Rekomi इसे validate करता है, आपके account में webhook endpoint बनाता है और endpoint का signing secret प्राप्त करता है।

कनेक्ट करने के बाद, Rekomi key का उपयोग केवल webhook endpoint को manage करने और periodic health checks चलाने के लिए करता है। आपकी sales signed webhook के माध्यम से आती हैं, API के माध्यम से नहीं।

Install the Rekomi Script

Affiliate clicks capture करने के लिए अपने marketing site में Rekomi tracking script जोड़ें। Rekomi आपका snippet, program ID भरकर, Setup → Install के अंतर्गत दिखाता है।

Pass the Referral into Checkout

API के ज़रिए Checkout Sessions

अपने frontend पर, window.Rekomi.getReferral() से referral पढ़ें और उसे checkout request के साथ अपने backend को भेजें। Backend पर, इसे metadata में set करें:

वही metadata.rekomi_ref field subscription products पर भी काम करती है, इसलिए पहला charge और प्रत्येक renewal उसी affiliate को credit करते हैं।

Payments API

नीचे दिए गए example में POST /payments का उपयोग किया गया है, जो deprecated है। यह मौजूदा integrations के लिए अभी भी काम करता है। नए integrations को Checkout Sessions (POST /checkouts) का उपयोग करना चाहिए, जो metadata को इसी तरह लेते हैं।

क्या ट्रैक किया जाता है

Rekomi प्रत्येक प्रकार के sale event को इस प्रकार handle करता है:

Subscription renewal	Recurring commission; प्रत्येक charge अपने payment event के रूप में आता है
Refund	Commission अपने-आप claw back की जाती है, credited amount तक
Dispute	Dispute खुलते ही commission claw back की जाती है

Rekomi commissions की गणना pre-tax sale amount पर करता है। Dodo Payments Merchant of Record है और tax collect करता है, इसलिए आपके affiliates sale पर कमाते हैं, उस tax पर नहीं जो buyer का देश जोड़ता है।

महत्वपूर्ण नोट्स

Rekomi webhook endpoint को ठीक उन्हीं events के साथ register करता है जिनकी उसे आवश्यकता होती है। Dodo Payments dashboard में उस endpoint की event list को edit न करें: यदि events हटा दिए जाते हैं, तो Rekomi के health checks connection में समस्या बताते हैं।
Free trial के समाप्त होने तक कोई payment नहीं बनता, इसलिए first charge तक कोई commission नहीं होती। Paid trial trial amount को upfront charge करती है।
Rekomi में disconnect करने पर आपके Dodo Payments account से webhook endpoint delete हो जाता है।
