# Connected Apps

> See and revoke the AI assistants, MCP clients, and Dodo CLI sessions connected to your business with OAuth, and control MCP and CLI access per mode.

When you sign in to the [Dodo Payments MCP Server](https://docs.dodopayments.com/developer-resources/mcp-server.md) or the [Dodo CLI](https://docs.dodopayments.com/developer-resources/sdks/cli.md) with your account, the sign-in creates a connection. Go to **Settings → Connected Apps** in the dashboard to see and manage these connections.

## Connections

![Connected Apps page with the MCP and CLI access switch for test mode and one Dodo CLI connection with its device name in the Session column](https://mintcdn.com/dodopayments/qcWXQ3CCdewP7gKI/images/features/connected-apps-session.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=qcWXQ3CCdewP7gKI\&q=85\&s=acd1c4f1d8d6a6f05c767a6556652a38)

The page lists each connection with these columns:

| Column | Description |
| - | - |
| **App** | The client that signed in, for example Claude, Cursor, or the Dodo CLI. |
| **Modes** | The mode of the connection: test mode or live mode. |
| **Access** | The permissions approved on the consent page: Read, Write, or custom. |
| **Session name** | The name of the session, to tell connections from the same app apart. For the Dodo CLI, the session name is the device name, for example `you@laptop`. You can change it on the last step of the consent page. |
| **Connected** | When the connection was approved. |
| **Last used** | When the connection last made a request. |

Click a connection to open its **Details** sheet. It shows the full permissions for each resource.

## Revoke a Connection

Click **Revoke** on a connection, then confirm. Revoke does this:

* The refresh token of the connection is revoked, and no new tokens are issued.
* An access token already issued stops working within about a minute. The API caches token checks for 60 seconds.
* For MCP calls, the next exchange for a 5-minute API token is refused.

To use the app again, sign in from the app again.

> [!NOTE]
>
> `dodo logout all` in the CLI also revokes the CLI connection on the server.

## Admin Controls

Admins with **Write** permission on API keys see extra controls:

* **MCP and CLI access**: one switch for each mode, test and live. When you turn a switch off, all MCP and CLI connections in that mode are revoked, and no new connection can be approved in that mode. Turn it on again to allow new connections.
* **Revoke all**: revokes every connection for the business in that mode.

When MCP and CLI access is off, the list is empty and the page shows that MCP clients and the Dodo CLI cannot connect in that mode.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Turning off MCP and CLI access for live mode stops every AI assistant and CLI session that uses live mode. API keys are not affected.
